Large Pair Italian Gilt Wheatsheaf Sconces

Large Pair Italian Gilt Wheatsheaf Sconces. These are really fabulous, each with five arms - a wonderful large scale. They have been newly rewired so are ready to go. The sheaf of wheat was a personal talisman for Coco Chanel symbolising prosperity, abundance, fertility and good fortune so they were immensely popular in home  furnishings during the mid century.
