A stunning pair of 1920's French, Maison Baguès gilt metal and crystal light sconces. Featuring the classic foliate design with crystal flowers, delicate glass on gilt leaves and cut crystal central central urn, these are newly rewired and in wonderful condition.
Maison Baguès was founded in Paris in 1860 by Noël Baguès and is particularly famous for these highly sought after designs . Originally a small foundry producing liturgical bronzes, the company expanded in the 1920's and started creating these iconic, ornate lighting fixtures.
