HUGE White Margrit Linck Lamps F17

Sale price£1,350.00

An amazing pair of HUGE 1960's lamps by the famous Swiss ceramicist Margrit Linck, the first woman in Switzerland to open her own pottery studio and widely known for her modernist, pure white ceramics.

These are real showstoppers on a monumental scale! Made from glazed white china, they are newly rewired (please see the last two photos) and there are no chips or dings. One of the discs has a matt finish (bottom disc on the left hand lamp) rather than shiny like the others, which is perhaps intentional and hardly noticeable. The original ceramic bases are missing, the replacements are made out of wood painted white, all shown clearly in the photos. Overall they really are a truly eye-catching pair.

AS WITH ALL OUR VINTAGE LIGHTING WE WOULD ALWAYS SUGGEST IT IS FITTED AND TESTED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN

Measurements:

  • Height: 78cm (to top of bulb holder)
  • Width: 24cm (at widest ring)
  • Diameter: 25cm (at base)
