Set of four wonderful ceramic column candlesticks. The set is made up of two pairs, both pairs are stamped at the base BF for Bermantofts Faience from Leeds, England. The stamps on each pair differ and the general glaze colour is ever so slightly different on each pair but overall they display beautifully as a set of 4. The turquoise/ azure colour is absolutely stunning and all four sticks are in the most remarkable condition considering their age which is c.1880 - there are literally just a couple of teeny tiny fleabite nibbles which I have shown in the photographs.  A truly fabulous and rare survivor!
